Uric acid fertiliser

It was pointed out that uric acid, which has a low water solubility and is a good nitrogen source, can be effectively used as a fertilizer for oil bioremediation. Uric acid is the major nitrogen waste product of birds, terrestrial reptiles, and many insects. It has a low solubility in water.
